There are a lot of conversations about consciousness these days. »Awareness is rising. » »Consciousness on the planet is increasing.«, etc.
But do we truly know what consciousness is?
Nobody talks about that.
The first time I encountered a definition of consciousness was in the Access Consciousness manual, where Gary Douglas, the founder of Access Consciousness, says: »Consciousness is the ability to be present in your life in every moment, without judgment of yourself or anyone else. It is the ability to receive everything, reject nothing, and create everything you desire in life – greater than what you currently have and more than what you can imagine.«
Does anyone want more consciousness after reading that? 😊
In other words, consciousness includes everything, without judgment.
There is no right, no wrong.
The more things are just interesting, the more conscious we are.
And here is the gift of consciousness, as I see it – beside what was written in the »definition.«
Consciousness, when applied to anything, allows things to change.
The more in allowance of something we are, not judging it as right or wrong, the quicker it can change, transform, heal.
Usually, we judge things in our lives as right or wrong. We judge parts of ourselves as right or wrong. Parts of our bodies as right or wrong. Our relationships as right or wrong, our businesses as right or wrong … as the judgment is the source of creation, as the judgment will create something.
But this is not quite so. If we judge something as wrong, this judgment only fixes this thing we are trying to change even more.
When we go out of judgment of this thing and are in allowance (so it’s not right nor wrong), only then can this thing start changing.
Only from this space can we choose something truly different.
